Team Building Workshop - Influencing Language

A fun, learning workshop that builds the team to achieve it's own objectives and support company goals.

Objectives:

• Improve individual and team motivation and results

• Improve the influence of the team as individuals and as a group

Content:

When you increase individuals and teams ability to influence you're likely to improve their results and morale.

The first part of influence is knowing what we want and what we need others to do to help us achieve it. The second is being aware of what triggers other to act in a way we want.

The workshop explores these factors and how how we influence through using emotional states and language. We consider the impact of enthusiasm, passion, playfulness, genuine caring and controlled anger We consider the use of using both the structure of our language and non verbal aspects of language like  pause, rhythm and voice tone. We consider how to make instructions and commands more effective and how to embed commands in our language.

We touch on the use of stories to influence.

Recommended attendees:

Any team who are genuinely interesting in increasing their influence. Attendees must have a degree of openness and honesty.
